Redemption Baptist Church (RBC) is a community-minded church discovering together what life can be like when lived from a place of faith, hope, love and purpose. The Church was established 118 years ago by a Ghanaian Minister, Rev. Dr. Mark C Hayford. By 1926, Rev. Hayford had established 45 churches in Ghana.
After his demise, the church which was then known as Cape Coast Baptist Church, attracted mostly Ghanaians around 1969 and has since been welcoming people from different countries, race and culture. RBC has since the year 2000 established satellite churches at Dominase, Saltpond, Abrakampa, AburaDunkwa, Amoabeng as well as at Ola, Apewosika and Pedu in Cape Coast. Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, RBC successfully established another church at Komenda in 2015.
The Ola, Apewosika and Pedu Churches now known respectively as Adom Baptist, Praise Baptist Church and New Life Church are well organised as full-fledged Baptist Churches with their own Pastors and management. The Other Churches are still under the management of RBC.
