The Ministry was registered at the Registrar General’s Department under the Companies Code 1963 Act 179 in December 1987. MCCM started with 22 members on the 19th December, 1985 worshipping in a classroom of Leaders Preparatory School at Zongo Junction, Mataheko, Accra. In 1987 there was a directive from the then Government that all churches should be registered and that churches worshipping in classrooms would not be registered.
This compelled the Church to start a building project on a reclaimed marshy land at Odorkor. Ten years later in 1997, in view of its large membership, MCCM acquired a parcel of land, at Achimota, which shares a common boundary with St. John’s Preparatory School for an auditorium with a sitting capacity of 5000 persons.
In 2005 a new three-storey building project designed to provide classrooms and residential accommodation, having 20 rooms per floor was commenced. This block is the facility which the Pastoral Council, the governing body of MCCM, has released to the College Planning Committee for the establishment of this college.
In addition, the pastoral staff conducts daily personal biblical counselling and prayer sessions with members as well as the general public. We invite you to visit us.
MCCM is a fast growing ministry currently with 50 branches (as at October 2015) – 15 branches in Greater Accra Region, 7 in the Central Region, and 4 in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
